Jablonski Physics Services was founded in 2003 by Leo Jablonski, M.S., DABR. Leo Jablonski is certified by the American Board of Radiology in both therapeutic radiological physics and diagnostic radiologic physics. Both Leo Jablonski and Don LaFleur are registered as qualified experts with the state of Nebraska as well as several other states.

Meet the team

Medical Physicist

Leo Jablonski

Since 1979 Leo Jablonski has worked in health physics and medical physics in various aspects of the radiation field including a state radiation regulatory agency; a major university radiation safety department, several community hospitals; and now as a medical physics consulting company. In 2003, Jablonski Physics Services, Inc. was formed to provide a wide range of services to medical hospitals and clinics as well as industry. Leo Jablonski also provides his radiation expertise as a consultant to the University of Nebraska Institutional Review Board which reviews all research involving the use of radiation on humans. He is dually certified by the American Board of Radiology in therapeutic radiological physics and diagnostic radiologic physics. Leo obtained his B.S. degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his M.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Leo was born in Grand Island and currently lives in Roca with his wife, Barb. They have two sons.

Medical Physicist

Donald LaFleur

Donald joined JPS in January 2014. He earned a Master of Science in Medical Physics from Radiological Technologies University-VT in South Bend, Indiana. He acquired experience in x-ray quality assurance while working with Leo Jablonski as a medical physics assistant since 2009. Donald was a Sonographer for 10 years and an instructor for a CAAHEP accredited ultrasound program at Bryan College of Health Sciences for 5 years. He has the following credentials from the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography): RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) in OB\Gyn and Abdomen, RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) in Adult Cardiac, and RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist). Don was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and currently lives in Lincoln with his wife, Nicole and four children.
