Our Services
Jablonski Physics Services is a qualified provider for facilities wishing to pursue American College of Radiology (ACR) or Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) accreditations. We can help you attain your accreditation for many types of imaging and treatment modalities. Our visits include phantom scanning, staff training, and assistance with the physics portion of the application. JPS has training and experience required to help clients successfully attain and properly maintain their ACR and IAC accreditations.

Diagnostic X-Ray Physics Including CT & MRI
JPS performs the surveys required by your state regulatory agency for all types of diagnostic x-ray equipment including: radiographic, fluoroscopic, CT, MRI, dental and dental cone beam CT. We also have assisted many clients with the accreditation of CT and MRI units for ACR and ICACTL.
Mammography
JPS is board certified and approved by the FDA to provide annual medical physics surveys on all mammography units, analog or digital, including tomosynthesis. JPS is up to date with continuing education credits required by the FDA in both conventional and digital mammography and currently provides annual mammography surveys for over 30 different sites in Nebraska and Kansas.
Radiation Therapy/Stereotactic Radiosurgery
Leo Jablonski has been providing clinical radiation therapy physics services since 1987. Leo and Don are qualified to perform a wide variety of services in radiation therapy including calibration and quality assurance testing on Varian and Siemens linear accelerators, Eclipse treatment planning system, Aria and Mosaic information systems, IMRT, IGRT, Portal Dosimetry & Cone beam CT. JPS has participated in well over 1000 Cyberknife Radiosurgery Procedures, 250 Lexsell Gamma Knife procedures, as well as over 25 years of experience using high dose brachytherapy, low dose rate brachytherapy, using Cs-137 and Ir-192 sources, Iodine-125 prostate seed implants, and over 500 hundred cases of Iodine-131 therapy for hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer.
Radiation Safety Officer
Jablonski Physics provides services as the Radiation Safety Officer for seven facilities in the Nebraska/Kansas area. Experience as a state regulator and as a university health physicist has resulted in a broad base of knowledge in both Nuclear Regulatory Commission and State radiation regulations.
Shielding Design and Shielding Surveys
Shielding design and surveys have been provided for hundreds of clients including medical, dental, chiropractic, veterinary, radiation therapy and other industrial facilities. From simpler dental x-ray facilities to complicated radiation therapy vaults, JPS is qualified to provide accurate shielding requirements for your facility. Surveys are also done to verify existing shielding for those facilities that don’t have the documentation necessary for state inspectors.
Radiation In-Service Education and Training
JPS provides radiation safety training required for hospital and clinic employees who work with radioactive materials or radiation emitting devices. The training can be specifically tailored to any department—cardiac cath, radiology, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, surgery, and even housekeeping and maintenance personnel. Training can be provided in person or via our RADIX manual (Regulatory Advice for Diagnositc Imaging- Xray). JPS can aid you in the creation of a Radiation Safety Manual and Policies and Procedures manual for your facility.
Radioactive Material Licensing
If you use radioactive materials, we can prepare your license application and amendments to the state or NRC. JPS has over 30 years of experience in this area. Leo’s past experience as a state regulator and university health physicist in valuable in preparing radioactive license applications and amendments.
Nuclear Medicine
JPS is qualified to take care of your nuclear medicine quality assurance needs. We perform quarterly audits, quarterly dose calibrator testing and annual survey reports required for ACR accreditation.
Ultrasound
JPS provides both ACR and non-ACR physics services of ultrasound systems in service today. With today’s fast pace of development in ultrasound, it is more important than ever to be able to trust that your physicists keep up with the latest standards and technology. Don LaFleur is a board certified ultrasound technologist and used to teach ultrasound at the Bryan College of Health Services.
